This 3/4 inch ID push-to-connect quick disconnect coupling is designed specifically to connect and disconnect moveable equipment used in the foodservice industry. This SnapFast (TM) coupling contains a thermal shutoff feature which is a polymer ring located inside the nipple that will melt and close the gas supply valve if the temperature rises above 350 degrees F. It has a push-to-connect feature which allows the coupling's components to be joined quickly by simply pushing them together until they snap into place. There is no need to hold or slide the operating ring.
