Applications

M200 Series

Double Check Valve Assembly (DC) Backflow Preventers can be used in fire protection systems without chemical additives and to protect industrial in-plant plumbing systems, as well as any other systems which require low-hazard protection. Local codes may vary, consult authorities for specific approved applications.

M300 Series

Double Check Detector Assembly (DCDA) Backflow Preventers are used primarily on fireline sprinkler systems when it is necessary to monitor unauthorized use of water. They may be installed under continuous pressure service and may be subjected to backpressure.

M400 Series

Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies (RPZ) Backflow Preventers are normally installed on fire protection systems connected to the public water supply in a high-hazard application. They are designed for protection against both backsiphonage and backpressure.

M500 Series

Reduced Pressure Detector Assembly (RPDA) Backflow Preventers are installed on fire protection systems connected to the public water supply in a high-hazard applications. They are designed for protection against both backsiphonage and backpressure and are used to monitor unauthorized use of water from the fire protection system.
