Colleagues in North Andover, MA, USA recently volunteered to fill 200 backpacks with much-needed school supplies to be donated to vulnerable students at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence.
CEO Bob Pagano, members of the Global Leadership Team and Headquarters employees then welcomed select members of the Club on site to enjoy pizza, popcorn and other treats before receiving their backpacks.
The Watts Cares event was sponsored by the Employee Engagement Team, which organized the donation for second year in a row. In 2024, in honor of the company's 150th anniversary celebration, the team donated 150 backpacks and, in prior years, built and donated bicycles to the Boys and Girls Club members.
