This 1/2 x 1/2 inch dual check valve backflow preventer provides cost-effective backflow protection of a public water supply. It can be installed in a variety of piping configurations, and in conjunction with a wide range of meter horns, copper setters, and meter boxes. The straight line, poppet-type construction minimizes pressure drop and provides smooth flow characteristics. It is not adversely affected by normal line pressure surges, will not cause water hammer, and operates without chatter or vibration. It features a bronze body and 1/2 inch NPT threaded female union inlet by 1/2 inch NPT threaded female outlet connections. The maximum working pressure is 150 psi (10.3 bar).
