This restraining device with mounting hardware is installed with a gas connector to enhance safety and sanitation in commercial kitchens on gas cooking equipment. ANSI Z21.69 standard requires that each gas connector used on equipment with caster-mounted or fixed legs is moved for cleaning or service repair should also be installed with a restraining device, which limits strain on the connector. This device is designed for use with 36 inch gas connectors.
