Used to strain foreign matter from pipelines and provide economical protection for costly pumps, meters, valves, and other similar mechanical equipment. They are especially critical where weld debris is often present in the pipeline. Well suited for long service in high pressure and temperature applications. Class 2500.
Features
- Designed for high pressure and high temperature services
- Cast Carbon Steel, Carbon-Moly, or Chrome-Moly body and heavy-gauge 304 Stainless Steel screen that is locked securely in place to stop sediment bypass
- Self-cleaning is accomplished by opening the plug or valve connected to the blowoff outlet, if provided
- All other covers normally furnished as blind flanges. Socket weld blowoff connection available, specify on order.
- Open Area Ratio much greater than pipe size, ensuring low pressure drop.
- Sizes 1⁄2 in. – 12 in. (15 – 300 mm)
