This 3/4 inch FloodSafe(R) water detector shutoff is a safety valve that protects the home or business owner from catastrophic damage due to a water heater leak. It detects the presence of water on the floor beneath the water heater and automatically shuts off the water supply and power source to the water heater. This valve shall be provided with an integral control unit, a water dam, power supply, power cutout module, water detection pad and power vent relay receptacle.
