This 450,000 grain capacity Pure Water simplex water softening system is a high efficient conventional cation exchange type water softener featuring the Watts LOCKSMITH(TM) control valve. It is designed for the point of use or point of entry applications where the benefits of softened water is required. The system has a 30 inch diameter mineral tank, contains 15 cubic feet of high capacity ion exchange resin, and has a peak flow rate of up to 109 gallons per minute. It has a 2 IN FNPT inlet and outlet and a 1 IN FNPT drain connection. This unit exchanges scale forming calcium and magnesium ions with non-scale forming sodium ions to create soft water for a variety of applications. This high quality system comes with a mineral tank, resin, and control valve that is NSF and ANSI certified. The durable brass control valve is highly configurable, easy to maintain, and electronically controlled with accessible operational history. Metered demand regeneration occurs only when needed, saving time, water, and salt. Includes a Salt Level Sensor, standard on commercial systems with mineral tanks 24 inches and larger, enabling Nexa(R) and BMS integration for remote monitoring.
