This 45k cabinet water softener, model PWSCAB45K, is designed for residential use applications. Its top sliding cover opens to a large, tapered chute for ease of adding salt to the system without removing the cover. This new design offers a unique flip up access window that allows you to program the valve without removing the cover. The state-of-the-art computer programming increases efficiency and saves salt and water. The PWSCAB series control valve is manufactured from high-tech materials, engineered and tested to perform in the most demanding environments for a highly reliable valve platform. The exchange media is a high-capacity cations polystyrene resin that combines high operating capacity with excellent chemical and physical stability for long dependable life. This high-quality water softener cabinet is manufactured from rugged high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for years of dependable service, even in the toughest environments. The top trim is injection molded of pre-colored ABS material. The space-saving low-profile design is ergonomically engineered for easy salt fill and generous storage capacity of 208 pounds of salt storage.
