This GAC system with a 4 GPM peak service flow rate are designed for residential and light industrial use applications and features the Watts LOCKSMITH(TM) control valve. Watts activated carbon filters are highly popular because they correct a wide range of water quality issues by reducing chlorine, taste, odors, organic chemicals and sediment. It is a user friendly system that brings clear water for drinking, bathing and cooking to every tap in the house. The state-of-the-art computer programming increases efficiency for backwashing to clean media bed and saves water. The control valve is manufactured from high-tech materials, the valve has been engineered and tested to perform in the most demanding environments. All surfaces contacted by water are made form 100 percent polymer components so that corrosion from acidic water and brine are no longer a concern.
