This 1.5 cubic foot acidic water neutralizing system is designed for residential and light industrial use applications and features the Watts LOCKSMITH(TM) control valve. Watts acidic water neutralizing system stops the corrosion of metal components and fixtures within a plumbing system by neutralizing the acidic nature of supply water that has a pH of less than 7. This system uses a high-quality granular calcite media to accomplish the neutralization process. As low pH water flow down through the media bed it reacts with the calcite media and dissolves it. This causes the pH of the water to mover from an acidic state to a neutral state. The state-of-the-art computer programming increases efficiency for backwashing to clean media bed and saves water. The control valve is manufactured from high-tech materials and has been engineered and tested to perform in the most demanding environments.
