This is a high capacity, automatic backwashing, activated carbon filtration system for the removal of chlorine as well as taste, odor, and color caused by organics, from the water. It is suitable for commercial applications with peak flow rates up to 25 9/10 gallons per minute for dechlorination and has a media bed size of 7 cubic feet. The mineral tank is constructed of corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic and has a 21 inch diameter. This system has a 1 1/2 IN FNPT inlet and outlet and a 1 1/2 IN MNPT drain connection. This system uses premium grade coconut shell activated carbon, which, is one of the highest capacity and cleanest carbons on the market for dechlorination applications. The mineral tank and system control valves are NSF and ANSI certified. The digital control valve stores key operational history and is constructed of durable brass. This system is designed for point of use or point of entry applications where dechlorinated water is required.
