This is a highly effective, automatic backwashing, media filtration system for the removal of sediment and suspended solids from the water. It is suitable for commercial applications with peak flow rates up to 98 gallons per minute and has a media bed size of 15 cubic feet. The mineral tank is constructed of corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic and has a 30 inch diameter. This system has a 2 IN FNPT inlet and outlet and a 2 IN MNPT drain connection. The workhorse of this system is its specialized sediment filtration media, which has a nominal particle size removal of 3-5 micron. This media along with the tank and system control valve are NSF and ANSI certified. The digital control valve stores key operational history and is constructed of durable brass. This system is designed for point of use or point of entry applications where filtered water is required.
