This is a highly effective, automatic backwashing, media filtration system for the removal of sediment and suspended solids from the water. It is suitable for commercial applications with peak flow rates up to 251 gallons per minute and has a media bed size of 40 cubic feet. The mineral tank is constructed of corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic and has a 48 inch diameter. This system has a 3 inch FNPT inlet and outlet and a 2 inch MNPT drain connection. The workhorse of this system is its specialized sediment filtration media, which has a nominal particle size removal of 3-5 micron. This media along with the tank and system control valve are NSF and ANSI certified. This system is designed for point of use or point of entry applications where filtered water is required.
