This 29 1/4 IN pleated sediment filter features a greater surface area than a wound, spun or melt blown filter. Its lower pressure drop allows for increased flow rates and the use of a smaller filter housing to reduce capital equipment costs. The synthetic filter media is cellulose-free and contains no additives or binders which may cause foaming. The increased dirt holding capacity allows the cartridge to handle higher solids loading and flow rates with a lower pressure drop that increases the filter efficiency and life, while reducing filter change out costs and frequency. The temperature range is from 40 to 140 degrees F (4.4 to 60 degrees C) and the maximum water pressure is 40 psi.
