A4000 Cation Exchange Resin, 1 CU FT, 52 LB Bag
This A4000 resin is a cation exchange water softening resin used in general water softening applications to remove calcium and magnesium hardness from water. It is blonde in color to reduce pigment leaching upon start up and has a 16 x 40 mesh size. This resin is made from polystyrene, is supplied in the sodium form, and contains 8 percent divinylbenzene for improved strength. It is certified to NSF/ANSI standard 61 by the Water Quality Association.
