California High School Streamlines Renovation with Orion's Chemical Waste Piping

What the Client Needed

Elk Grove High School was encountering persistent issues with the chemical waste systems previously installed including lengthy installations, incomplete welded joints, and poor product availability. When it came time to renovate their school’s piping system, it was not only important that they installed a reliable product.

Solution

Orion Blueline chemical waste piping is designed for high resistance to chemicals and fire. Made from thermoplastics like polypropylene (PP), flame-retardant polypropylene (FRPP), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), Orion’s pipes are suited for both above-ground and underground chemical transport and drainage and can be assembled using no-hub, electrofusion, and socket fusion methods for flexible installation options.  Elk Grove made the decision to switch to Orion’s system.

Results

The contractor was happy with the ease of installation and product availability. Following installation, all pipes passed the pressure tests with zero leaks, confirming both the quality of Orion’s materials and the precision of the assembly methods. By choosing Orion, Elk Grove High School was able to complete their acid waste renovation project on time and with increased confidence in the system’s reliability and durability.
