Winery in Upstate New York Needs Drainage System to Meet High Demand

What the Client Needed

Royal Wine is a manufacturer of specialty wines with locations in New Jersey and upstate New York. In their Goshen, New York location, they are seeing an increased demand for their product, leading to the need for higher volume. Their past drainage and piping systems could not keep up with the new quota of 2,000 gallons of liquid per minute.

Solution

To address their drainage needs, Josam stainless-steel push-fit piping and trench drains were installed. Royal Wine determined that if they were going to upgrade, they wanted to choose something that would last. Josam’s stainless-steel solutions not only provide the structural integrity needed to handle the high demand of liquid, but also the ability to handle corrosive materials during cleaning.

These Josam products are manufactured in type 304 or 316L austenitic stainless steel and can be customized to meet all project requirements.

Results

55 total trench drains were installed ranging in size from 8-72 feet. Total throughout the entire property, there is an estimated 1,838 feet in trench drains installed. The project engineer praised the Josam product line for its quality and ease of install.
