This 10 inch MasterSeries (R) configurable design double check detector backflow preventer assembly prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. It is designed to be installed on fire protection systems to provide indications of system leakage or unauthorized water use. It has the capability of N and V configurations that reduce the installation footprint and reduce installation costs. This assembly without shutoff valves consists of epoxy coated ductile iron body construction, two in-line independent check valves, replaceable stainless steel check seats, gallons per minute metered bypass, and ball valve test cocks. The maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar).
