This 1/2 x 1/2 inch lead free copper body dual check valve backflow preventer is designed to prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from entering the drinking water supply at the service entrance or at individual outlets. It consists of a poppet-type lead-free copper body that minimizes pressure drop and provides smooth flow characteristics. The straight-line design is ideal for use in non-health hazard residential water system containment and continuous pressure applications. It can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position and has double union connections for easy installation and repair. The minimum working pressure is 10 psi (69 kPa) and the maximum working pressure is 150 psi (10.34 bar).
