Purge and Balancing Valves
Series RPV Residential Purge and Balancing Valves are used in heating applications on boiler return piping to facilitate removal of air from heating zones on initial fill and to control water flow through circulation loop. It also serves as a shutoff valve and a drain valve for each zone or loop. It consists of a one-piece brass/bronze body construction, plated brass ball, virgin PTFE seats, hose thread connection for purging, and iron handle. Available in threaded x threaded, threaded x solder, and solder x solder connections. Series RPV provides high-volume purging, accurate balancing, a positive drip-tight shutoff, and is ideal for use in hydronic heating loops. Maximum Working Pressure: 50psi (344.8kPa).
