This duplex progressive pre-plumbed and skid mounted water softening system is a high efficient conventional cation exchange type water softener. It is designed for the point of use or point of entry applications where higher flow rates are required. The system has a 36 inch diameter mineral tank, contains 20 cubic feet of high capacity ion exchange resin per tank, and has a peak flow rate up to 250 gallons per minute, per tank. Each mineral tank has its own brine tank. It has a 3 inch flange slip PVC schedule 80 inlet and 3 inch flange threaded PVC schedule 80 outlet and a flange slip PVC schedule 80 1 1/2 inch drain connection. This unit exchanges scale forming calcium and magnesium ions with non-scale forming sodium ions to create soft water for a variety of applications. This high quality system comes with a mineral tank, resin, and control valve that are NSF and ANSI certified. The durable brass control valve is operated by an electronic controller that stores key operational hist
