This highly effective, automatic backwashing, media filtration system, model PWML125MZ1, is designed to reduce sediment and suspended solids from the water. This system features the Watts LOCKSMITH(R) control valve offering advanced programmable features. It is suitable for commercial applications with peak flow rates up to 9 gallons per minute and has a media bed size of 1 cubic foot. The mineral tank is constructed of corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic and has a 9 inch diameter. This system has a 1.25 IN MNPT inlet and outlet and a 1/2 IN FNPT drain connection. The workhorse of this system is its specialized sediment filtration media, which has a nominal particle size removal of 3-5 micron. The Micro Z media in this system is NSF and ANSI certified. The control valve is manufactured from high-tech materials, engineered and tested to perform in the most demanding environments. All surfaces contacted by water are made from 100 percent polymer components so that corrosion from acidic water and brine are no longer a concern.
