This 4 inch lead free reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly with its exclusive design incorporating the air-in and water-out principle for protection during an emergency condition prevents the flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. This assembly without gate valves consists of an epoxy coated cast iron body, captured spring check valves, replaceable seats, top mounted test cocks and a field reversible pressure differential relief valve. The coating on this backflow assembly uses ArmorTek(R), a patented 3-part advanced epoxy coating system designed to limit both microbial induced (MIC) and exposed metal substrate corrosion. This NYC version comes with four sets of 304 stainless steel bolts/nuts with a 1/4 inch hole drilled axially through the bolts and a restrictor plate to limit discharge.
