Series CSM‑82‑F static balancing valves are engineered for effective hydronic system balancing in medium‑ to high‑volume flow HVAC applications. Featuring an angled globe valve design, the series allows for precise and repeatable flow adjustment to support accurate system commissioning and long‑term performance. A unique cylindrical plug design provides full flow capability while minimizing pressure drop and reducing operating torque.
Models in 1‑1/4 to 2 inch sizes are equipped with a cross‑handle shutoff for compact operation and easy adjustment, while models in 2‑1/2 to 12 inch sizes feature a handwheel shutoff designed for smooth operation and positive control.
