Features
- Sizes 2 in. – 12 in. (50 – 300 mm), 758G SM only sizes 2 in. – 12 in. (50 - 300 mm)
- Ductile iron body and 304 stainless steel screen
- Tapered seats in both the body and cover flange retain screen and prevent particle bypass
- Used to strain foreign matter from pipelines and provide economical protection for pumps and other mechanical equipment
- SentryPlus Alert Technology comes standard on the 758G SM, with two pre-installed pressure sensors at the inlet and outlet of the strainer
- A connection kit is required to activate the pressure monitoring capability and collect data from the sensors (kit sold separately)
- Connection kits are available for monitoring only or monitoring with automated blowdown, with data streaming via Modbus RS-485 serial communication (BAS) or Nexa Cloud communication (Wi-Fi)
Series 758G cast iron grooved Y strainers are used to strain foreign matter from pipelines and provide economical protection for costly pumps, meters, valves, and similar mechanical equipment. This Class 125 Y strainer has a ductile iron body and 304 stainless steel screens. Features tapered seats in both the body and cover flange to retain screen and prevent particle bypass. The LOCXEND™ wye strainers are designed for installation in grooved end piping systems.
The Mueller Steam Specialty 758G SM strainer models provides users with performance data of their wye strainer and enables informed decisions to be made pertaining to maintenance of the strainer. Featuring automated blowdown functionality, the 758G SM can automatically perform routine maintenance, reducing manual intervention while providing a proactive way to avoid expensive repairs and support efficient, smooth operation of the overall system.
