8 IN Ductile Iron Y Smart Strainer, Grooved, Class 300, LOCXEND

This 8 inch grooved ductile iron Y strainer, class 300 is used to filter undesirable particulate from pipelines, thereby protecting other equipment downstream. This LOCXEND(TM) Y strainer is designed for installation in grooved end piping systems. It has a 0.125 perforated 304 stainless steel screen. The threaded blowoff allows for a variety of means of cleaning the unit. This strainer includes two pressure sensors that provide users with realtime strainer basket pressure differential monitoring, data stream, and full basket alerts via BMS connectivity and/or cellular gateway. This enables them to make informed decisions pertaining to maintenance of the strainer. The Smart Strainer provides a proactive way to avoid unnecessary downtime and ensures efficient and smooth operation of the overall system.
