This 2 1/2 inch DuraCheck in-line reduced pressure detector backflow preventer assembly prevents the backflow of pollutants that are objectionable but not toxic, from entering into the potable water supply. It is ideal for protection of health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the fire line service entrance and has the capability of measuring water flow in the system to identify any leakage within the fire protection system. It features a ductile iron body, two in-line independent check valves, replaceable check seats with an intermediate relief valve, ball valve test cocks, cubic feet per minute metered bypass and outside stem and yoke resilient seated gate valves. The maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar).
