Reduced Pressure Detector Assembly Backflow Preventers, Stainless Steel
Series 994RPDA reduced pressure detector assembly backflow preventers helps stop or mitigate the reverse flow of fire protection system substances being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply. This assembly incorporates a meter to detect ground leaks and unauthorized illegal taps, greatly reducing annual water expenses. It consists of a stainless steel body, stainless steel internal parts, thermoplastic check valves and a bottom-mounted relief valve. Series 994RPDA is half the weight of competitive designs, and its short lay length makes installation and maintenance simple and easy. It is ideal for installation on fire protection systems. Check with local water authorities for installation requirements. Maximum working pressure is 175psi (12.06 bar).
Flood alert feature available with add-on retrofit connection kit, compatible with BMS and cellular communication.
