Series 009 reduced pressure zone assemblies feature a flood sensor using SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect continuous discharge from the relief valve. When paired with an add on connection kit, the sensor is activated to relay alerts for potential flooding events. Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor which enables integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
This series protects the potable water supply by preventing the reverse flow of contaminated water caused by backsiphonage or backpressure. It is ideal for use at health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance. The compact, modular design allows for easier maintenance and improved access to internal components. Series 009 features durable bronze body construction in sizes ranging from 1/4 in. to 2 in.
