3 IN Ductile Iron Y Smart Strainer, Grooved, Class 300, LOCXEND
This 3 inch grooved ductile iron Y strainer, class 300, is used to filter undesirable particulate from pipelines, thereby protecting other equipment downstream. This LOCXEND(TM) Y strainer is designed for installation in grooved end piping systems. It has a 0.062 perforated 304 stainless steel screen. The threaded blowoff allows for a variety of means of cleaning the unit. This Y strainer includes two pressure sensors that enable differential pressure monitoring and automated blowdown, when activated with the optional kit (sold separately), provide users with real-time strainer pressure differential monitoring, data stream, and alerts via Modbus RS-485 serial communication (BAS) or Nexa Cloud communication (Wi-Fi). This enables user to perform routine maintenance and make informed decisions pertaining to maintenance of the strainer. The Smart Strainer provides a proactive way to avoid unnecessary downtime and ensures efficient and smooth operation of the overall system.
