This 8 inch lead free MasterSeries(R) reduced pressure detector backflow preventer assembly help protect against high hazard (toxic) fluids in water services to industrial installations and applications. This valve features a longer lay-length for drop-in replacement of competitor?s Z-pattern valves. This N pattern assembly with domestic outside stem and yoke shutoff valves consists of a ductile iron body, replaceable stainless steel check seats, cubic feet per minute metered bypass, and ball valve test cocks. Improved with a stainless-steel relief valve seat, these rugged assemblies yield greater dependability and extended valve life. This backflow assembly contains a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert(R) technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When paired with an add-on connection kit, the sensor is activated to relay alerts for potential flooding events. Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor which enables integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa(R) platform through Wi-Fi.
