LF880V
Lead Free* MasterSeries N-Pattern Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly Backflow Preventers with Flood Sensor - Large Diameter
Features
- Sensor on the relief valve for flood detection
- Flood alert feature activated with add-on connection kit, compatible with BMS and cellular communication
- Utilizes advanced ArmorTek coating technology to build in electrochemical corrosion inhibitor and microbial inhibitor to resist corrosion of internal parts
- Fulfills the application needs in industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, chemical plants, irrigation systems, boiler feed, water lines, and other installations with exceptional flow characteristics
- Combines the use of a stainless-steel relief valve seat and stainless-steel check components for maximum performance and durability
- Requires no special tools for inline service
- Is highly suitable for potable drinking water systems where code mandates protection from backpressure and backsiphonage conditions
- Protects potable water against cross-connection contamination of high hazard (toxic) fluids in water services
- Sizes 2 1/2 to 10 Inch
MasterSeries LF880V Lead Free* reduced pressure zone assemblies feature a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. Activated through an add-on connection kit, the sensor can trigger the alert system sending notification of flood detection to facility personnel. Connection kits are available for BMS and cellular communication.
This series prevents the reverse flow of contaminated water caused by backsiphonage or backpressure from entering the potable water supply. Ideal for protection at health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance. Its compact modular design facilitates maintenance and assembly access. Check with local water authorities for installation requirements.
